107's to 108's

Hi ya'll

For the past 2 years i have been driving with 107's and RFT's. Yea i know..sad...

This weekend i finaly had the chance to change to 108's with the same set of tires but the ride seems more smooth.. is this possible? Is the material different? Has anybody else changed from 107's to 108's?

is my mind playing tricks on me??

*disclaimer* this is probably a size that will make sense when i'm sober......
 
107 and 108 refer to wheel types. not tire sizes. The 108 is the 5-spoke 2-piece wheel prone to corossion. The 107 is usually referred to as Ellipsoids, and was the standard wheel on the 3.0i with sport package in the US.
 
I wasn't wasted. Happily buzzed yes. All this :poke: :poke: I may just go get really drunk and start posting :evil:
