115 posts and haven't bought the car yet. Commitment, or need to get out more. :P

Deposit is down on a Grey 07 Z4M. Was meant to pick up last Saturday, but some complications has knocked it back to this week.

Aiming for Wed or Sat.

Will post pictures in due course, but thanks for the help with my stupid questions.

I hope I can contribute on here like I have on other forums and looks forward to attend a country road blast at some point.

Excellent news ..whereabouts in the country are you ..? :driving:

Picked the beast up today. Bloody brilliant. I've smiled all the way home.

Going to spend tomorrow giving it a really good clean, then I'll post some pictures.

Nice one fella. Worth the wait wasn't it :)

Indeed. :D

Great news, congrats. Different league to the TT?

It's the sound I appreciate more than anything. I thought my tuned 1.8T 4pot sounded good, but this is a completely different league. Haven't stretched it's legs yet though, trying to give it some respect, so I don't embarass myself by going backwards in to a hedge in the first week.

Probably wise giving they are quite exiting to drive  Well my 3ltr does well, so can only imagine what the M would be like :driving:

Had a few good drives out today.

Washed, polished and partly waxed (weather beat me) so looks nice as well.

Had the roof down two days on the trot despite the brisk wind.

Hi everyone, been lurking for a month & finally just joined the forum. Already gleaned a lot of useful info, & find myself checking in almost every day.

I drive a 2003 2.5 Z4 in titan silver. Love it!!!!!!!!! Mine is pretty standard with no improvements yet but now that I have found this club who knows.............

Had a 2001 Z3 1.9 for 3 years before. I think i am a commited fan of the Z series. Will load some fotos soon, & hope to get to know you all better.

Welcome fella. Good to introduce yourself but you'll be better off creating your own intro thread! ;)

I just saw that my join date was 2008. Presumed your server was wrong, so thought I'd click bac and find my first post.

Alright this is a bit pie in the sky. I drive a k1 225 TT remapped modded etc.

Small rear ender and so while insurance is repairing I got given a 2.0L z4 roadster for a hire car.

Love the TT to bits, but this is really growing on me. Alot less common than the TT.

Would need at least 2.5L or 3.0L as the 2.0L is ALOT slower than mine. (The M I bought isn't though lol :driving: )

Wondered what mpg I could expect? Any hidden running costs.

Could someone also point me in the direction of spec lists as not sure what is standard and what are options.

Thanks

Sure enough in 2008 I had a Z4 2.0l hire car and the seeds were sown. lol

Funny how things work out.
