Not sure how to price this but I'll say £350 delivered.
Everything required to upgrade to the oem 10 speaker system, so the amp (including bulk head bracket), harness, drivers and associated stuff. If I'm not very much mistaken the front 6 are the same in both setups, but if you need them for some reason they are also available.

this is exactly what I need, but equally would also need some who knows how to fit it.
It's not a job for the faint-hearted that's for sure, that said it's not actually that difficult just requires a lot of trim removal to lay the harness and install the components. I've labelled up the harness though and have some pictures as a guide.
The end result is pretty decent imo.

hi, thanks for the tip
I’m interested as it’s a “must have” for me to improve the sound in my Coupe.
Music is very important to me and had I known, I would never have purchased a coupe with the satnav

But the fitting of the bass speakers/amp in the cubby holes and the wiring loom frightens me.
Hence I would need to source someone who knows what he is doing

Why not just tap off the rear connections, to an aftermarket amp in boot and the to subs? Or buy the rear speaker mounts and grills if OP would be willing to split (or check ebay) and DIY it much easier than trying to fit the DSP "upgrade"

It's not the carver dsp system, it's the standard hi-power 10 speaker system, so things are a little easier in that respect.

Hi, yeh I think you made the suggestion to me before about the “tap off” and I purchased the splitter unit and was going to repurchase an Edge active amp (had one before in my Compact, decent enough) but again, in this area with the coupe, I really need someone who knows what he’s doing to guide and advise whilst I’m in his presence.

I’m normally quite a confident guy but when it comes to matters like these, it’s as though I would prefer to say to someone “this is what I want, can you do it? How long and how much?”
I think the biggest issue in the coupe for me is the “partition” to the boot area, I just look at it and think “*&£% where do I start?”
In my previous BMW’s (E36’s) it was easy enough as I could navigate leads via the rear bench (seat) and they had no satnavs that were operated by the CD headunit as the coupe does.

Also when you say DSP, forgive my ignorance but I’m like “DSP? What does he mean? :? “
Yep, I’m a Z4 novice, I’m not even entry level novice lol!

DSP == Digital signal processing - it's considered by some (many?) to be the close to the top of the line regarding sound and signal processing and driving speakers etc etc.

Where are you based location wise? (Perhaps PM me so as not to clog up this thread)

I can vouch for this working as I did something similar. It won't be audiophile sound quality, but you will get more bass. I disconnected rear 4" speakers (which improves the soundstage as well) and connected the twisted pairs into a device like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Critical-C...line+in&qid=1560166038&s=books&sr=1-1-catcorr (not the one I used but similar principle) which can then feed an amp.

I fitted Reckhorn D165 bass units in rear cubby, they give good sound for pound.
