Mostly Holland. Sometimes UK.
This is going on right now outside my rented place in Holland.

Observe how skillfully and safely the lamposts have been swung onto the back of that truck.
Fekin cowboys, they've already lost control of one lift operation further down the road where the lamp post ended up swinging over the tops of cars and in front of cyclists.

Rank amateurs!

hahah u fkr. but ur probably right. it's probably worth less than that nasty old peugeot sat next to it in the dutch market (RHD).

Im sure PVR once let slip he ran a health and safety machinery training company before legging it to the UK under a shroud...

We have photographic evidence John that you dragged a bear up the roof of a house without the appropriate training and H&S conforming methods .... :poke:

You'll never make it stick Paul, there isn't a photo I took him up there in existence, you've got nothing... :poke:

well, seemed to pass on from my place without incident. New lamp post in old one on the ground.
Further up theyre still swinging posts around with cyclists, mostly schoolkids who are busy on their phones and not paying attention cycling by.
No supervisor, cordons or visual/audible warnings at all. Total lack of H&S considerations. This is the kind of negligence that leads to accidents.
Bonkers!

Can you get your neighbours to clean their balcony please
I know that bit's filthy isn't it!
It's actually a bit of a no-mans-land as it's a section of 2-storey housing, hence the sloping roof and no balcony and I'm the last of the 3-storey houses with a balcony on this side.
Been tempted to get the hose on it but I don't think the neighbours would appreciate it. Nothing I can really do about it unfortunately.

At least the new posts are up and they have gone. In the UK, the road would have been closed all week, with more cones and barriers than you could shake a stick at. H+S is good but sometimes it's so over the top.

Strange isn't it that all our H & S issues (like closing the road for a week and a proliferation of cones) are allegedly due to the EU, yet other EU countries seem to manage to just get things done!

No wonder getting anything done in the UK is so expensive!
