Well, it's now just over 12 months since I joined the forum and bought my coupe 8)

Last week my car had it's first MOT (passed with no issues) and I renewed the warrenty. I've still got until september until my first time based oil is due (another 9k miles before minor service).

Mileage

Car has now hit 19k miles, I've done 6.5k in my first year of ownership with the zed being my daily driver.

MPG

Best I've had over a tank, 39.5mpg. Worst I've had over a tank, 26.5mpg. But in truth I've only had 2 tanks where I've averaged below 30, both composed of around town driving and hooning

Positives

It's been a pleasure owning the car I've wanted for a long time. My only regret is that I didn't get one sooner really. The novelty of the car simply hasn't warn off, I'm still just as careful about where I park, keeping it clean, and still have as big a smile on my face every time I drive it. Interestingly for the number of topics about unwanted attention etc. I've only had a couple of negative experiences, and otherwise plenty of positive comments from passers by etc.

Negatives

So tbh, like most on here I can't say I have any regrets getting the car, but if I were to do it again would I do anything differently?... Well this was the only low mileage blue with light interior coupe I found in months of looking, so I'm glad I got it, but having driven around in it there are two things that might be different on my spec list...

1) Automatic rather than manual... I love having a manual car but it's hard work in the slow town trafiic I regularly found myself in.

2) Interior colour... I love champagne nappa, but I think I'm too ocd to own it, I have to concede red or black might have been better to manage but no where near as good looking :P

And finally:

The forum has been a great resource and a great read (very entertaining at times :P )... I've joined a few forums in my time (non car related) but never been about a year later - and certainly not with this sort of post count. So thanks to all of you who've kept me reading

The future?:

Well; no plans to get rid of the coupe any time soon. The only thing I can really say I've got planned for the next 12 months is to finally make it to a meet!

Some (old) pics, but a good few new members since I last put any up

Forgot to include my ability to kill a thread on here (evidently before it's begun) lol ironic that someone else has started has started a thread praising the forum after mine though lol

Good write up & read . The Z's do have a way of getting under the skin especially the better looking coupe form :poke:
Glad its been all good news & enjoy the next year
