Hi all,

I should have done this last year, but as it's now just over a year since I did my Bruuge to Lake Como back to Amsterdam road trip last year. I thought I would share some of my highlight photos. Seeing these again makes me so want to plan another trip....

Nice pictures! I did a similar route start of last month so the views in your photos are still pretty fresh in my memory, really made me wish I was still on the road and not back at work right now

So true, those mountain passes are absolutely stunning! Could just spend a few weeks driving around the Alps. Where about did up go?

I got the ferry to Amsterdam, then drove to the nurbuhrgring, down to Lean then across to monza. On the way back up did como then the stelvio pass to Austria up through stuttgart to Brussels then back to calais for the ferry to England.

I do like England but the views and quality of roads in Europe are enough to make you consider moving on to the continent! I posted some photos from my trip here http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=78580

Yeah the roads are so stunning over there and so so smooth. Even when I go for a drive over here in the dales or north Wales, I'm always a bit worried about blowing a tyre on a pothole. No such worries over in Europe.

Think I managed around 31 to 32 ish mpg. Wasn't too bad, only got caught in 2 jams over 3000 miles of driving.

Plus petrol on average was much cheaper over there. Especially in Switzerland and Austria. Didn't feel as guilty keeping it in sports mode most of the time.

Those roads look like huge amounts of fun..

Love the last pic, which would be the ultimate pic if it had a Zed in it! :)

Haha, I can't even remember where the car was in that photo, guess either behind me, or right at the bottom of the bank, do remember climbing quite a bit for some of those photos.
