06 Z4si radio stays on w/ ignition locked??

Hi,
I just got my new (to me)2006 Z4si and had noticed with the igition off and locked that the ratio stays on. Is there a setting to have it turn off with the key? I would hate to have it drain my battery in case I left the radio on.

racks the memory banks...

mine used to do this, dealer replaced the head unit - fortunately one week inside my warranty!

Mine goes off with the ignition in off (non sat nav system). I can also switch the radio on without the ignition having to be on, but is pre configured to auto switche itself off after 20 minutes.

Perhaps a previous owner has deliberately altered the wiring and given the radio a permanent live feed ?
