05 z4 fan blower new type resistor wiring

Does anyone have the pin out for the new style fan blower resistor. I have to cut the old connector off of the wiring harness and re-pin a new connector on, but not sure which wire goes on which number on the resistor.

First question is why did you need to change the resistor in the first place? Was it because the fan would only run on the slowest setting?

Yes, I got some pictures off of You Tube of the same type of resistor being replaced. I might can wire it from that.

So if your fan will only run on slow speed its very likely that your car is in transport mode and needs plugging into a scanner to either delete it or reset it. You can confirm by seeing if the heated rear window is also nor working.
I've never actually heard of a fan resistor failing.

And also whether a/c will work.
Don’t go chopping into stuff if two minutes with a laptop could fix it!

Pretty sure you're just in transport mode. Where are you?

You need to find someone with suitable software. Scanner 1.4 (PA Soft) will reset it. Takes about five minutes, including plugging the laptop in.
A BMW dealer should be able to do it for you, but they ain't going to be cheap in my experience.

Great! If you have that then go into the HVAC module, Select Reprogramming, Click on Set Unit Mode and then click on Normal (Default) Mode. That's it.

That was it. How it got into transport mode is beyond belief.

It happens when the battery is disconnected or goes flat. It should have been deleted when the car was originally delivered but often wasn’t.
