Replaced my entire cooling system over the July 4 weekend (preventative maintenance). Just had to have a look inside the 11 year old radiator. It was pristine. My expansion tank had a knurled thingy on the lower hose connection- anybody know what that is? The new tank didn't have one.
Replacing the expansion tank was more difficult than changing out the VANOS!-
