Hello all, this is my first post. I have a 2003 2.5 5 speed with a m50 intake, cat-less headers, and m56 valve cover. I will be swapping the 5 speed for a 6 speed, swapping in 3.0 parts, and adding some boost.
What info that I am looking for is about maf or air flow sensors that can be used with boost aplications. The oem maf sensors for the 2.5 and 3.0 for our 03-05 z4 will blow off the hose with boost. I know with e46 and other older beemers people have installed screw/bolt in maf sensors with some modifications to the connectors and wiring. I cant find anything online as to what sensors would work with my ecu to get proper readings for flow and temps.
I found this oem part number for the 06-08 3.0 z4s bit am not sure if it will work.
