I posted this on another Z4 forum but thought I'd post it here, too, since the 4D film seems more known in Europe and hasn't hit mainstream in North America.
I was looking for some info on the 3M 1080 carbon fiber film and came across this newest 4D carbon fiber vinyl film (not made by 3M). It's said to look and reflect like real wet carbon fiber and doesn't have that "dry" look with the 3M di-noc or 1080.
Does anyone have any experience with it? I have no problem admitting that I couldn't care less about the weight loss from real CF, and if this 4D CF film looks decent in person, I just might wrap my roof with this.
