FS: 2005 3.0 manual se z4 with BMW warranty

hi,reluctant sale( too many cars , a walk to work, and a summer abroad) bmw approved warranty til sept 2008,silver black hood and black leather see ad at http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/552193.htm

I think the price is probably fair considering it is an 2005 car. Maybe only a few hundred pounds if anything by the look of autotrader.

I suspect it is just the current climate that is to blame. Hang in there for a while yet!

Going by the Z4's I've been looking at over the last month, I'd say the price was pretty reasonable. Many I've seen come up in the last couple of weeks seem to be overpriced as they think the summer means they can charge more but it seems the fuel/credit crunch should be canceling it out this year.

The text in your ad could do with some work though. Split it up, add a list of features or just important points to make it look more professional.
Maybe add a photo of the standard wheels and offer them as an option, rather than as available seperatly. Many buyers may be put off by the non standard wheels, despite yours looking great, I'd still rather see a car with OEM wheels.

Good luck with the sale.

i reckon prices must have taken a real hit...no interest at £14750, not even one call .....its tough if you have to sell.i am going to relist @ £13500 please tell me thats got to be good value

Well I agree that the ad text could do with a slight makeover.

TBH I am a bit shocked that you've had no interest in it, before you re-list it I would try it on Autotrader first, remember only a very small percentage of car buyers have even heard of Pistonheads, most will go to Autotrader. Try a £20 ad for a couple of weeks first.

I sold mine last year for £17.5k straight to a dealer, marginally better spec than yours, but even so, I think £13.5k is just too low. Have you tried any local dealers yet for a cash buy?

Definately to low at 13.5k! As the post above suggests, try autotrader for a few weeks before reducing your price any further!

yeah, you are severely limiting yourself by advertising just on pistonheads... I never even looked on there when I was looking for mine.... autotrader and ebay are the way forward, without a doubt.... I'd bet you sell it through autotrader though, everyone uses that.

Good luck

sorry guys but it has been on autotrader, i have had a couple of cash offers ,but a really really low one from local BMW dealer and that was against another car.

Hi,

I'll be looking to buy a Z4 as soon as i've sold my own car. I was originally after a Grey Z4, but if you still haven't sold it in a couple weeks i might be interested if your still thinking of reducing the price.

Does it have electric seats and parking sensors?

car is now sold, i hope the member selling the 55 plate at £17+ has better luck than me. i dont think there are many buyers out there, i blame the credit crunch and all the talk of doom and gloom
