Since the recent success of the Surrey Meet there seems to be lots of interest on that thread for more of a social gathering so we can get in a bit more chat as driving most of the day limits this. Many of you have expressed meeting for a meal so I thought I'd get the ball rolling (and since this doesn't involve route planning may be more do-able).

So let me know if you are interested and:
1) Whether you prefer a weekend or a weekday evening - include a suggested date
2) Where locationwise
3) lunch or tea/dinner/supper

I can't do: Dec 6-9, Dec 29/30 to Jan 6 or Jan 11-14 due to holidays abroad. Other than that I'm free-ish and weekday or weekend is possible. Location wise for me S/W London/Surrey/Buckinghamshire works - at a push can get to Kent.

Let me know your thoughts.
Ruby

Evening for me as it does not take up "daylight" time :)

Location - Westerham has a nice Indian restaurant if that is the type of food we are going for. Carpark as well opposite and not in "vandal prone" area.

This is approx 1 hour for me on AA routefinder, so likely quicker in reality unless the M25 is chocka. When were the Kent party planning on going? Need to see if this works with others too.

Westerham seems to be a fairly good location for all I would suggest. Just under an hour for me also.

Fairly flexible so week day evenings or weekends.

I could be interested depending on date time location. Assuming I am welcome obviously :?

Of course! Suggest your preferred date and location and this will be taken into account.

Ok everybody (not PVR) go back to the first post and answer questions 1-3 (getting déjà vu) might help a decision being made at some point in the future

Ruby might be worth putting some dates up with a poll and seeing what people vote for otherwise I think you will struggle to get a date which many can do.

I don't know how do set up the voting thing.
I can do most weekdays but the only thing that may put people from my end off coming post work is M25 rush hour traffic. I kind of thought everyone can suggest dates and we can narrow it down after.

Might I suggest the White Hart Brasted as a potential venue if you decide not to do the Indian.

This looks lovely! Fancy coming down if we go here OG?

Same car park if I remember well, I have no preference to food type as such.

Place is an hour from me as well.
