All this talk of callipers has get me thinking about my own, having another week off work next week I very little else to do than "play cars"

I have narrowed the colours down to

Red – Race look as it red anyway?

Gold - Think this could work great with the Red - Like the 350z

Black – Bit dull but sutle

Silver - Same

Really like what tom did with the orange but feel that works better with silvers/greys

Also found these what the feeling? I personally really like them as there quite subtle

Without a doubt, YES. I'd seen these too but as a non-M owner there's no way I was doing that to mine. I think those on a black-painted caliper would be very nice.

Gold is a no-no IMO.

Black is clean and understated, won't show dirt and dust.

Red - nice contrast on black, silver or grey with big enough callipers, but with your car being red there's no contrast, and will it look like you are trying too hard therefore spoil the look of your wheels ?

How about silver with the ///M decals ? They'll blend in and not detract from the wheels from a distance, but up close will look tidy...

On a red car black looks fine, red is the race colour, gold would look ok but not wih coloured decals.

Black or red would work best I think. I kept my brakes black and put two silver 'M' decals on each front brake. Put some high temp lacquer over them. Still there two years later!

I've just put red calipers on with my black wheels which I think looks ok with an Imola Red car.
The yellow does look interesting though :)

Think the yellow would only work if the caliper look decent enough - given how shite the non-M calipers are, I decided no! How do the ///M calipers compare looks-wise?

A11y that is a mighty fine point :? I cannot remember now a bit pish if I remember :?

Will you take the calipers off to spray them then? I was hoping to brush paint mine in situ. I appreciate the finish wouldn't be as good but I thought is would be a lot less effort! Is that not recommended then?

I brush-painted mine with black Hammerite in-situ. Couldn't be bothered even taking the pads out. Would've been easier doing so but just needed extra care taken.
