that looks like a space saver spare wheel, actually they all look like space savers hehe

I had the pleasure of following and almost identical one of these back from the Oulton Park Gold Cup a while back, and it was no slouch, especially considering its age.

You should get over to the Gold Cup at Oulton Park then, as they have everything from Formula 5000 to classic touring cars - and everything in between (including a 16 litre, 2 gear, no brakes Napier).

Absolutely lovely.
saw 1 of the roadsters at a car show last year. v nice in the flesh too

calssic artwork :D

wow, now that engine looks much nicer than modern engines, most modern engines are just a big black plastic cover

Liking the lump hammer, makes a better weapon than a wheel brace aswell.
Yes, what a weapon....I was thinking that as well :o
The head is likely brass and is used to remove the knock off hubs. Many years ago I had a Jag XK150S and the brass hammer was standard kit for the hubs.

WLH, thanks for this - love classic cars, and this is a great one

Good video too - interesting that the racing dominance was as much to do weight as power.
