June 2006, 06 Reg, MINI Cooper S John Cooper Works 210
This is an immaculate example of a genuine MINI Cooper S JCW with:
• Only 13,700 miles from new
• Tax until March 2011
• MOT until June 2011
• Full BMW MINI service history with ‘tlc’ Pack covering servicing up to 50,000 miles or 5 years
• 1 previous owner
It’s a fantastic car with loads of character that’s excellent to drive. The performance is outstanding and it sounds brilliant with the combination of the louder supercharger whine due to the JCW airbox, and the JCW exhaust. It sounds great under load and pops on the overrun when you back off the throttle, but is also very quiet when cruising. Having the panoramic sunroof is nice in summer to be able to open it and the windows giving an almost convertible like feel without sacrificing practicality, security or all year round use.
I bought the car in May 2009. The previous owner was an OAP and had hardly used the car, just owning it as a luxury for trips to visit family and friends, meaning it had only covered 5689 miles. This means it had only been driven carefully and was very well looked after. It was always garaged, only used in dry weather and cleaned after it had been out. During winters it was taken off the road and kept in storage until the spring.
As the car was as new when I bought it I have looked after it very well to maintain its condition as much as possible. I used the car quite a lot during the good weather last summer and enjoyed every minute of it. Most of my miles have been easy driving on A-roads and motorways and I’ve averaged 31mpg over the time I’ve had it (actual, calculated manually rather than from OBC).
I again took the car off the road in October over winter, until April and kept it under cover. It’s regularly washed and valeted and has just been detailed so is looking stunning ready for its new owner. The bodywork is perfect with no dents or scratches and the interior is very clean. The front seats had covers on from new until I bought it and the back seat had never been used, and since still only has a few times. The tyres are all Dunlop SP Sport 9000 DSST runflats in excellent almost new condition all with tread depths of 6-7 mm (new tyres have 8 mm).
The JCW kit was fitted by the supplying dealer and I have the JCW certificates. I have lots of paperwork for the car including the original purchase invoice and prior quotation details, all the manuals and service book, all 3 keys including 2 remote keys (1 unused) and the 3rd plastic emergency wallet key.
The only change to the original spec is Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs that were brand new and fitted professionally by Coastal Racing in September 2009 (4000 miles ago). These make a big improvement to the handling and give the car a better stance, but they could be removed and replaced by the original springs before collection if you would prefer.
Usual Cooper S standard spec (too much to list, contact me if you're not familiar and want details) with the following optional extras:
• Hyper Blue metallic
• Roof and mirror caps in white
• Alloy wheels in white
• CHILI Pack, which includes:
- Xenon headlights
- 17” 5 Star Bullet alloys
- Limited slip diff (LSD)
- Air conditioning
- Octagon half leather sports seats
- 3 Spoke sports leather steering wheel
- Trip computer
- Front fog lights
- Interior light package
- Storage compartment pack
- Velour floor mats
- Passenger seat height adjustment
• JCW Aerodynamic bodykit – fitted by the supplying dealer from new
• Electric panoramic sunroof
• Darkened glass (rear)
• Cockpit chrono pack
• Body colour interior trim
• Chromeline interior
• Heated mirrors & washer jets
• Spot lights – fitted by the supplying dealer from new
• White viper stripes- These are a unique reflective vinyl, they could be removed if the buyer wishes
• ‘tlc’ servicing pack
Having the full JCW 210 bhp package gives a 0-60mph time of 6.6 secs and a maximum speed of 143 mph. The kit includes upgraded:
• Cylinder head
• Supercharger
• Airbox
• Injectors
• Full stainless steel exhaust system
• Engine re-map
Other additional features:
• Parrot 3200 LS Color integrated Bluetooth phone kit with colour screen
• JCW vinyl logos on the side skirts which could easily be removed if desired
I don’t think you’ll find a better example so don’t miss out on this rare one of the last R53 JCWs. The car is fully HPI clear with no previous accidents or theft. It has been 100% perfect with no problems whatsoever. Any check or inspection welcomed. Cars like this really don’t come along very often at all; I don’t think I’ll ever have one as good again. I’ve just bought a BMW Z4 and can’t keep this as well unfortunately. I’ll be very sad to see it go.
Now £12,950 (Previously £13,990)
Private plate not included in sale but could be left on by separate negotiation.
If you have any questions or want to arrange a viewing please don’t hesitate to contact me on here or by phone on 07545 077018.
Thank you for looking,
Matty
