Space is meant to be tight... she will ask, so as I'm arriving late I may just get one of those little two man popup tents.

sk93, Siftah, what size are your tents? It may help Paddy's case.

I know Aebous is bringing something you could play real tennis in! Best not mention that to Pat.

Otherwise Paddy, there is the Waterside Camp site, next door I think.

I haven't purchased mine as of yet.. but I'm sure it'll be a popup two man throwaway jobbie.

I'm sure that if we all just pitch up really close, then it should be ok?

I got a nice cheap 2-man tent last year from Tesco, iirc it was a Tesco value tent and cost less than a fiver, was ideal for an overnighter.

that's pretty much what I'm aiming for
I live near decathalon, and they sell brilliant £5 tents

I've an amusing mental image... The campsites will be full of 30 thousand pound caravans being towed by 7 grands worth of KIA 4x4.

Then a small enclave of 5quid Tesco tents with 30 thousand pound sports cars parked next to them.

Was quite true on my recent camping trip on Skye - although my tent's not a £5 effort, more a £60 effort but same effect being pitched next to the Z4...

If we get stuck a couple of us with two man tents could always pitch in an unoccupied wing of his pad

LOL it's only 2.74m x 2.43m (9ft x 8ft), it's not that big. Only is 1.2m (48in) high too....that's dissapointing. I want a tent I can stand in. The bag for it is quite small....going to be fun to get it back in the bag.

On a side note, not sure if I'll be showing up friday or saturday now. Apparently we are no longer getting friday off, I'm trying to finagle a deal so I can get there friday evening, but it may not be until Sat afternoon. I do need to stop by a camping store and get my little camp stove situated with a small propane tank. Maybe I'll just go get a camp bbq and show ya'll how we do this 8)
