Engine strut brace for Z4M roadster

That's the same as mine, and luckily my car already had it fitted.

Not standard, was an optional extra. The Z4 brace had a flatted bit on the mount so it doesn't rub on the bonnet.
The Z4 one's are silver as Tom said, black are E46 unless been resprayed I suppose.
If you look on your bonnet you've likely got some rub marks around where the mount is.

Defo no rubs on the bonnet.

If there is no strut bar as standard, does that mean that someone has fitted the mounts from an E46 as well, or are the mounting lugs still there to accommodate the bulkhead bars, just minus the strut brace??

I just found a photo of a car without…therefore I do now think the mounts must be from an E46 as well….?

Lucky if no rub, unless it's already modified. Yes the mounts and bar are from an E46. There are no mounts as standard.
