Accidental new member!

Accidental new member here following the recent death of my partner Scott. His 06 plate Z4 was his pride & joy. I am determined to keep it on the road. I adore driving her but know nothing about maintaining a car, let alone a soft top. I may be asking questions to help make sure I am as informed as I can be when talking to any mechanics. Please bear with me!

He was a regular contributor on here I believe... but I don't actually know his Forum name 🥺
 
Welcome. Sorry that the circumstances of your ownership are not over but knowing the forum as I do, you will have all the help and assistance you need to keep that car going

Wlecome to the forum. You will get plenty help from here. Maybe if you post a picture of the car, someone might recognise what forum member owned it.
 
Welcome aboard in less than happy circumstances. My commiserations on your loss.
I’m sure you’ll find all the help you’ll ever need in here.
Always ask before you throw money at any garages.
It makes no difference to the support you’ll get, but would be interested to find out who Scott was on here.
 
Sorry for your loss but hope that Z brings happy memories and enjoyment of what we all agree is a phenomenal car. As the others have said, there is a lot of expertise on this Forum.. so don’t be afraid to ask … As someone said there is no such thing as a stupid question .. we all have still a lot of opportunities to learn.

Hello and welcome, first sincere condolences on your partners passing, and when the sun shines, get the roof down and enjoy the car, hopefully it will be a reminder of happy days and good times with Scott
