Slow to fill up

Hi all just moved from a e85 3.0i to a g29 40i and loving it , but the car takes ages to fill up , you have to be very patient at the pumps , otherwise it just keeps clicking off . Otherwise the car is great.

Never really experienced that in over 40k worth of fill ups tbh

Could be the heat. My GF complains about this issue on my E89, but it’s either the price of petrol, or the temperature causing the issue.

The vapours can click off the pump perhaps?
(So I have heard without conducting further research)

It does it on my e85 at some pumps, others fine. Even worse a pump in Paignton didn’t stop the fuel!

Might be a blocked bleeder. I’ve not had any issues filling my my car.

i have the same problem it takes a long time to fill my e89 the pump keeps stopping
