Standard E89 35is. (Cubby in place of pop up screen) What are my easiest options to get Android Auto into the car for road trips please
Its OK tier 2 ish supplier vs tier 1 HI Fi max..not as neatHas anyone got experience of these? Anyone fitted it? Or is this only if there is an existing screen? Not very clear at all
He doesn't have CIC fittedHere is another option- this one also has a touch screen and integrates with steering and console controls.

Ive got that linux one, @ 10.25", its horrendously large, looks out of place on the e89. and you loose the flip top system.. both turned out a no go for me. Currently working on another solution.. Mod the screen and pop up lid to possibly take part of the 10.25" linux screen and mod it into the pop up motorization.I'm leaning towards the Linux 10.25'' screen I linked on Ebay above as it's reasonable cost and I'll only ever be running one app at a time. Resolution seems decent too. Is anyone running it?
Both are not good compared to Mr Flippy…but the 12” is ridiculous..I did try it but sent it back ..fortunately for a 10” version which even more fortunately I sold and went back to Mr FlippyThinking of this 10.25" is it really too large? The 12.5" is for sure too big and looks silly.
Getting really confused and not familiar with all the jargon etc. I would be very grateful if someone can explain to me in plain english.
1. I have a standard E89 with cubby on top of dash. No idrive, no screen.
2. I want to get Android Auto into the car but dont need all the bells and whistles I'll never use. Just a decent screen not huge or super hi res, just something to show my maps.
3. That's it.
4. Thank you to anyone who can explain to me simply!
Thank you! This is all you need:
