Opening the Exhaust Valve by removing the 7.5 amp fuse

Hi.

Have any G29 members removed the 7.5 amp fuse from the fuse box in the boot to open the exhaust valve and if so how much difference to the exhaust note has it made.

If you choose Sport Plus Mode, the exhaust valve is open and you can hear it yourself

I did this for a while. Only problem for me was doing this made the BMW Trackstar think my car was being stolen and raised multiple alerts. I didn’t realise the fuse removal was causing this until after the tracker was replaced under warranty! Slightly embarrassing. May be specific to how my tracker was installed. I no longer have the car.
