Just ordered some parts from Autodoc uk And I thought I'd share my experience.

I wanted some bonnet struts so I put in my reg number and up came my car so happy days.
I found the struts they said fitted and I ordered them. The order page said they fitted, the information details said they fitted
and the search said they fitted so what could go wrong? Quite a lot it would seem. The arrived and were obviously completely
wrong but these things happened I thought and contacted AutoDoc. They just could not have been less helpful. Apparently
even though it said in three different places on their website that these were correct I should have checked with the vin numbers and OME
even though they don’t have that option. So it was my fault and I would have to pay return postage for a refund. So £7.04 out and £9.29 return
in order to get a £10.7 refund. Well that's great I thought! Next time I will just use a company that is actually in the UK as it turns out even though they call themselves AutoDoc UK the parts come from Germany. Really awful company.
 
That's disappointing, although I'm sure people have had issues with them before.

SGS Engineering, who are UK based, may be able to help with your struts.
 
I've used them - not for returns - and they were fine. Quite cheap if you re-try a few times as I think the discounts change. Took a week or so to come though iirc.
 
I buy from them knowing I can’t return stuff

If they get it wrong or parts have failed I have previously had account credit
 
Ive used then before and no problem. But if they say it will fit and it doesn’t and that’s your fault even though they
said it would in three different places? you never know whos good until things go wrong
 
Make a complaint and explain you are on a forum sharing the outcome.
 
I buy plenty from them and usually without a problem. Sometimes there is a delivery delay but I think mainly down to Evri. If there could be a number or product matching problem then I pay the Safe Order option which covers return postage etc. There are many manufacturer choices so quality has never been a worry and saving money is always at the top of my list.
