Folding mirrors and adjustment failure

Hi,

My son has purchased a nice 2008 2.0 which required a transport mode delete before the blower / ac would work, fortunately I have a Foxwell 530 to do this.

The folding mirrors and adjustment also doesn’t work, I hoped the transport delete would also solve this.

All fuses are good, wiring has continuity, door adjuster switches tested, is this likely to be a module issue?

Think it’s likely related to battery replacement by dealer which triggered the transport mode, are there any other resets required or is there another common issue?

Usually needs a clean

Strip the switch down and get some contact cleaner in as a starter for ten

Clean all the contacts within the door switch but most importantly the areas circled in red. Use contact cleaner or 99% Iso.

Yes, have this bit facing the floor as you seperate the switch and keep it facing down:

So you were absolutely right - cleaned the contacts and now have working mirrors - almost - up and down still not working on drivers side, need to have a look at the motor.
