Boot High Mount Light G29

Hello to all. Any BMW technicians out there or has anyone removed their rear boot lamp from a G29. I'm trying to clean up the paintwork round the lamp recess and wonder if the lamp unit is bonded in as I can't find any securing screws or clips. Part shown below.
Wonder why does the paintwork get so grubby here?
