Bluemusic adapter

Hi guys,
I just purchased the bluemusic adpatoer off ebay for my E86. Plugged it in behind the headunit and chnage setting to Aux but nothing showing on my phone? I further read that you may need to remove the fuse to the CD changer that's behind me so i did that. Still no joy. Any ideas?

All I had to do was connect the car wiring to the bluemusic device, the bluemusic connector to the back of the head unit and turn to aux. Then on the phone go to bluetooth and scan for devices. There should be one called bluemusic, connect to it. Then if you play music on your phone it uses the car speakers.
Do you know which stereo system your car has because sometimes they react a bit differently. I just have the bog standard business unit.

Yes I did all that. Phone doesn’t see the bloothtooth device.
