Bike racks

Does anyone have any experience with bike racks for the Z4? I work at Halfords, and our system doesn't say any will fit. From what I can see, it looks like the Saris Bones should fit.

Either way, just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions and/or experience with another rack.

As always, all help and advice is greatly appreciated.
 
I researched this a while back but never committed to it. Saris Bones was on my shortlist then, so agreed. I've not fitted anything specifically to mine though. (The passenger footwell is fractionally too small to fit a folded up Brompton in annoyingly.)
 
I investigated this a while back. Most makers say a rear mounted carrier is not suitable due to the boot lip being soft. Likely to bend under the weight of a carrier and bike. This seems to be true for most BMW saloons. Did find that some people had been using a 3 bike saris bones with success, but its a risk. Certainly wouldnt want to put a 20kg ebike back there!
