Hi everyone,
Another newbie. Just signed up as I am considering an E85. I've been a long term admirer but I have never actually committed to buying.
Seeing as they appear to be at the bottom of the depreciation curve I wondered if now is the right time to try! (Approval from the Mrs is still pending).
Currently driving EVs but have owned a pretty varied and interesting array of cars over my driving career from a vauxhall nova as a first car to a lotus Evora s as a highlight, with minis, mx5s, Subaru, VW's, 350z and pretty much everything in between.
I do love convertible RWD so I'm hoping I will enjoy a zed.

Currently scoping out the market, definitely needs 6 cylinders but wondering if a bit of a cheaper project is the way ahead or something more minty. I quite enjoy a tinker so doing some work doesn't worry me too much.

Thanks for having me!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

A straight 6 is definitely the way to go - it's one of the Z4s unique features. If you don't mind tinkering finding an unloved example can be a good way to bag a bargain.
