NO LONGER NEEDED E85 3.0i/si Manual Convertible

Copart drain the fuel and sell it. There will probably be another reason for it not starting.
Whilst it's policy, on my personal experience it doesn't get done all that often. My own car came with 3/4's of a tank. Very stale too

They don’t look like xenon’s to me plus no yellow xenon stickers under the bonnet.

This might not be true for the pre-facelifts, but the other not-xenon giveaway is that the inner light isn't a projector (which it is on the xenons).

Copart notes say engine light on and stolen recovered. Would want a lock set to be secure!
When I had a spare key cut for my previous Z4 the guy who did it had to code it and deleted all the keys I didn't have, which might be cheaper than a lock set.

So ive found a Z4 and put a deposit down, collecting it Sunday.

Just after posting on here on Wednesday this week a 2006 si manual in silver went up for sale not too far from where i live, popped over this afternoon and its a really nice motor, and looks to be well looked after mechanically. Bodywork and interior have a few marks but at the price ive paid im well happy. Seller was a really nice chap as well. Ill put up some photos once ive collected it on Sunday.

Comes with the M sport Black seats, heated and memory, parking sensors, a headunit wired into a sub in the passenger seat, MV2's i think, sport trim, really nice spec and perfect for what i want it for, its also the lighter silver rather than the darker one which is what i was after if i was going for that colour.

Going to get a few bits ordered, mainly brakes as there was a slight wobble, as well as a waterpump and thermostat as these have never been changed. All of the gaskets have been replaced this winter which is a big win!

I’ll close the thread, but thanks for the suggestions above.

Really happy with the purchase, needs a bit of work here and there, but engine sounds great, handles well, just needs a few bits doing:

New brakes
Lower arms
Diff bushes
Maybe clutch release bearing
Maybe track rods
New tyres

I’ll start another thread on that though!

Thanks all!

Very nice, congratulations, looks like silver grey to me?
You can now change the title of the thread to - no longer wanted. 👍🏻

I think it is yes, only just got home from collecting it and haven’t delved into any of the details just yet! I’m going to vin decode it later and see what options it came with from factory. The wheels aren’t the originals aparalently.

It will say silver grey (silber grau) under the bonnet on the left as you look from the front.
These are standard wheels on a sport, 135m/MV2. Otherwise it could have had 108 split rims which are very nice but corrode and are more expensive to refurb.

It’s silver gray, I vin checked it, was on 135M’s from factory but I think these have been refurbed to the gunmetal as they are like new.

Nice colour combo!
