Oil leak

Not sure if this will stop oil drips on the floor.
Replaced filter gasket 3rd time some months ago due seeing oil here in first picture.
Filter gasket was leaking because oil on front of engine.
Still seeing oil appear as picture 1, seems to come from above so removed the intake tubes.
Oil as usual on the engine intake side, so i guess the oval seals, which are new, are leaking blow back vapours condensing as oil and dripping out.
So have RTV the oval seals to engine block and see if oil reappears.
Could be the black plastic intake flange is distorted.

Well the oil is reappearing.
At a loss to know where it's coming from other than the cylinder head gasket.
Need to check if any oil galleries that area of gasket.

I'm guessing the oil is leaking from the return tunnels circled in red.
The seal around them leaks oil.
Could be a bad vapour vent and pressurising and causing the leak.
Might explain the oil in the air intake manifold tubes.
The replacement cam cover is 15k miles old.
Wonder if the valve is faulty.
Would explain oil burn of 1/5 litre in 1k miles.
Engine runs as good as ever.

Any cracks in the plastic cover? I couldn’t see them in mine until I flexed it

Below the cam cover is dry all around...
I'd be interested to know if seeing oil in the induction tubes is normal.
Wondering if the valve in cam cover has split. Only done about 15k miles since it was replaced..
Oil on floor might from the rear crank seal if crankcase under pressure.
