PDC - idiot question

One of my PDC sensors has decided that it's bored of looking out of its little round window in the bumper and has gone off for a little mission of its own inside. Maybe it's doing some cleaning and tidying, I'm not sure.

So, a question for those who are forever removing bumpers before I join the club, what's the usual MO for sensors that have come adrift? Do they ping out of their mountings and it'll clip back in, or will the mount have ripped off the inside of the bumper and I'll need to glue all my fingers together to fix it? Just want to know what I'm up against before I take a crowbar to it.

In my recent project of converting my standard Z4 bumper to a Z4M front bumper, I decided it would be good opportunity to also create a DIY for removing the front bumper. Not wanting to be bloody minded (or even mildly disagreeable, I hate conflict) but the PDC is on the back... 😁 But, and I will stand you several pints for it, thanks for actually replying: Bloody bastards the rest of them, sitting there in their ivory flavoured towers, laughing at me with their flush fitting sensors. Grrr.

In fact, he said having consumed really rather a lot of tequila, I'd forgotten about it. I suppose that means I'll have to do something about it tomorrow. Which is irritating, as I was going to do other pointless stuff. Or nothing. Or drink beer. Although, having got back into it, there's a lot to be said for a Margherita. Or a margarita. Or however it's spelt. How hard can it be to get another drink?
