Someone's got to do it I suppose!
Five days until the largest football tournament ever held (the yanks have to do it bigger).

104 games in total. That is nuts. A couple of days there are six games a day. That's over 9 hours of playing time in one day.

It looks like England's group games are all at a reasonable time, but the poor old Scots' aren't.

I am looking forward to it, but don't think I will be able to watch every game, although I will do my best. I will have to make sure the PVRs are both fairly empty and block record many games.

Not a big football fat. But I'm sure I will watch a few England games. Well it had to be done does it not.

I’ll be watching some games where possible and all the England games. I just find them really frustrating to watch. Mainly when they manage to “retain possession” going from an attacking position all the way back to the keeper. For god sake attack, get it in the box. Theirs not ours! Stop passing back all the time!

22 overpaid mardy kids per game more interested in tattoos and stupid hair cuts, falling over at nothing, crying when it doesn’t go their way than actually playing properly….🤨🤪

I’ll still watch as many games as possible and thoroughly enjoy it….😆

Yep. Same.

Seriously, what do you think our chances are Pondlet…? I def don’t know enough about footy to make any suggestions.

No idea mate. I am not a footy 'officionado' by any means.
But we have a strong team (except Rashford who's a knob IMO). Whether they can play as a team to their collective skills when it really matters is another matter.
The players seem to think, from what I have heard, that they are going out to the US of A to bring the cup home. Heard that before!
England are one of the favourites (4th at present), on paper, but we have a habit of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as our 'boys' have a history of bottling it at the important moments.

TBH I don't care how we do, as long as we put in decent performances, play as we can play and don't under-perform. If we play well and are beaten by better teams that is all we can ask IMO.

The media are already talking our chances down due to the hot weather out there so the poor little millionaires might get a bit tired! :headbang:

I hear the French are favourites
They will probably fight among themselves and go on strike, though. They do that!

Spain are the bookies favourites before it starts, which makes sense. Then France, then the Argies, then us and Brazil.

Why do I have to be empty?

Well that was a difficult watch against Congo (again).

France would have beaten us about 42-2.

Only upside is the Germans are out already. :)

And the Dutch! ;)

Katie Price aka Jordan promised the team they could see her naked if they won.

It would put me off going to sleep, never mind anything else

It looks like England's group games are all at a reasonable time, but the poor old Scots' aren't. While I'm prepping for the marathon, I've been checking out the odds and offers for the tournament — if anyone else is getting into the betting side of things, using a melbet registration promo code is a decent way to grab some extra value before the kickoff.
104 matches is truly excessive. It used to seem like the tournament was long enough, but now it's been stretched out even further. On the one hand, more football is great, especially for those who enjoy watching more than just the top teams. On the other hand, it's becoming practically impossible to watch anything at all.
egarding England, I'm not impressed yet.

Tuchel is already reminding me of Southgate; the same boring football.

I remember proper football....proper tackles, proper characters, proper wingers who actually crossed the ball into the box, instead of running towards the corner flag and then passing it all the way back to the full-back

Its over commercialised now. These 'hydration breaks' are just an advertising slot and makes the game into 4x quarters like American Football etc.

I'm still watching it though haha
