Z4MR replaced By a Caterham Superlight R400

I had a Westfield with a ford Duratec producing 255BHP and weighed in at 550Kg's and a sequential dog box
The Caterham Duarte's where too much money for me as they are younger cars so a K series it is...

Wow that must have been an absolute rocket ship. I think that's potentially too much power for me, or rather, for how I want to use the car. The Duratec seems like a really nice solution to me; light, tunable, reliable and easy to maintain.

Lovely, but I think you’ve set the rpm at idle a little high!

>20 years of Westfield ownership culminated in me deciding that an Exige was a sensible car for a daily 120km round trip to work - it’s a slippery slope!

I tried to avoid Motorways when I had motorbikes too for the same reason, but at least if everything came to a halt you could filter on them rather than sit at the back of the queue with your eyes glued on the mirrors!
One of the last times I drove my Westfield on the road before deciding it should be a dedicated track car, I stopped at the back of a traffic queue and the next person to reach the line of cars almost didn’t. The fact that the rear crash structure was the fuel tank and I was firmly strapped into the seat with a harness made me reconsider the wisdom of driving a near invisible car on the road.

Pic of mine, it's a 1.8 K-series with only a 140bhp, but it still feels lively though to be fair to it. It's only done 4k miles as well and it's a 2002 model.
