Anyone off to Thruxton for the Howl this weekend? Just about to swap the wheels and pads then put the straight pipes back on. Who can resist a no noise limit track day👌

A grand for thruxton is a bit rich for me, but I'm sure it will be fun! Be good to see them doing the podcast too, enjoy.
I went there on a similar day with the intercooler a few years ago, there was some interesting stuff there, not least the old formula 1 cars sky were filming during the lunch break.51427913525_80a28e7264_o.jpg

How was it nick? Hope the weather wasn't too bad 😞

It was my first time at Thruxton and a bloody awesome day, even with the relentless rain we managed to get 36 laps in. It stopped raining for a while but the only red flag of the day took care of that. I cocked up the tyre choice and swapped the PS5's for AD09's which made it quite interesting, I went into pussy mode and had the traction control on most of the time and it still had some scary (but fun) bits . Made my day when the V12 TWR Supercat driver said he loved the scream from my straight pipes. Loads of fantastic machines, nice food, happy people and a few laps in the Bentley continental GT3 race car, topped of with a live Collecting Cars podcast in the evening and I was knackered. Worth every penny. :driving:
