Great order- open and honest:
I bought the car to break but it was too good to do that
I stripped the nice bits off it and replaced:
- seats
- full leather
- dash
But I’ve had some fun tweaking things on it so it’s no longer a 2.5i it’s been updated to the 2.5si intake and engine management software- no longer 177bhp it’s over 200 now and it drives so well.
Carbon black shows no rust although there are the usual scratches and dents with age
I’ve recoloured the roof and the motor is in the boot.
Has a part service history and the last owner didn’t scrimp. I’ve serviced it and changed the gearbox oil. I’ve changed the usual gaskets and valve cover as it was cracked, the CDV has been removed and it has a zhp style gear knob. New front discs as the old were lipped.
Inside it has manual black heated seats, working phone Bluetooth, sports steering wheel and PDC.
Negative points are the alloys need refurbishment- although I’ve touched the worst up. Tyres are good but not branded. Only one key that is temperamental for remote opening but fine in the lock. Car is category marked due to a parking accident at the front with the previous owner.
It’s a superb throw about little z4.
