Does anyone fancy these before I put them on eBay? I’d seen a couple of people fit these and bought a set for mine, but I like my 108 too much and these have been sitting in the garage.

They’re genuine BMW 405m and are forged. Very nice wheels which were sold as a winter wheel on more recent 3 series I think. Condition is very good although there are a couple of tiny nicks in the paint on every wheel. The one pictured is the worst, condition wise.

The tyres fitted are Pirelli SottoZero in 225/45/r18, I didn’t have any rubbing issues when they were fitted to my car briefly. They tyres have the majority of their tread left, see photos.

In addition the photos of the actual wheels. I’ve borrowed a couple of pics from google, to show how good they look on an e85/86, I suspect the owners are on here so I hope you don’t mind. The blue car was the reason I sought out a set of these, it looks incredible.

I’m in Lancashire and would prefer collection at this point, if you want to arrange collection, that’s fine, but I do not have any suitable packaging to hand.

There are a couple of 18” sets on eBay at the moment, at £1400 and £1100. I’ll accept £800 or near offer if another forum member wants them.

Please excuse the fact that there is currently only one wheel photographed at the moment, they’ve been in the garage and are dusty! The sale is for a set of four of course.

Damn fine wheels, these.
CSL but not CSL.
Forged, strong and lightweight, and the offsets work perfectly for the Z4.

Very tempted for our 340i which these are the stock winter wheel option for.. 🤔

Thank you, and thanks for not being annoyed with my photo borrowing!

A friendly pointer, not wanting to turn people away from these.
But anyone wanting to add these to their Z4 might need to swap out the /45 profile for a 40. The ET34 offset with a 225/45 might be pushing it a touch too close on the front, the rears will be fine.
The 225/45 is the stock profile for the 3 series which these wheels were an option for.
SE ride height should be fine, and maybe MSport height if you run some camber and use roads without any large compressions.
But with Eibach heights the /45 maybe a smidge too big.
@DaveD might be able to confirm either way, I'm sure he used /45 profile at one time?

@1978 I'd have these off you if you were local. :)

Thanks, much appreciated. Aware that they’re a size up in terms of sidewall profile, they were fine on my car with M Sport springs, but may catch on the liner on the front if fitted to lower cars.

I’ll drive down and meet you halfway between us if you’re serious re wanting them!?

These are way lighter than any standard E85 18” wheel…. Fairly sure i did a weight comparison when i put them on the black car in the photo above ☝️

It’ll be in the forum somewhere.

They are superb wheels and would look great on my E90 but as it's a Cat N they're probably worth more than the car!

GLWTS.

Here you go, page 2 post 39 in this thread for pics of the potential weight savings compared to style 108’s (obviously tyre dependant)

Having pulled the other wheels from storage, the front tyres have a bit more wear on the edges than the rears, so I’ve put the wheels on eBay and I’m happy to accept offers here.

Hi, I want them, but in reality I only want the wheels. I have an E86 so will need to purchase new tyres in any case. Not sure if you'd entertain parting the wheels from the tyres? Could you PM me if you want to discuss?

Hi, I’ve sent you a message. Thanks

I’d accept £600 for these if anyone can collect? I’ve been offered £650 on eBay but I’d have to package them for a courier. Thanks

Such a good price.
@1978 I'd recommend getting these on the f30.bimmerpost.com. UK section, classifieds, if you have no luck here.
They'll go on there, for sure.. 👍
