Adaptive headlight malfunction

Hi everyone, 2015 LCI

Ive been tackling this adaptive headlight issue on my right headlight for a month now, the issue is:

Fault memory (ISTA):
Right headlight: Stepper motor controller, communication on right disrupted / not OK
AHL system deactivates after 15–20 seconds
Adaptive headlight malfunction on Idrive
The headlight stay pointing at the ground

I tried the calibration of headlights in ISTA but the error Stepper motor controller of right headlight is not OK error stopped the full initialisation

Both headlights perform startup selftest they visually move up and down go to the middle as they should but then dip to the ground shortly after
After that the adaptive malfunction appears

Ive tried swapping SMC modules left to right to rule out its possibility, unfortunately the error stays on the faulty RIGHT side
Ive noticed that the right headlight was replaced at some point with a newer OEM manufactured date 2023

Here is my last hope that somebody has had the same or similar problem since im out of ideas, next its going to a refurbisher

That would affect both lights
