I have a couple of power steering motors and even a full steering column if you need. Drop me a line if I can help.My electric power steering has failed. Has been sent to ECU Testing who have said it is too damaged to be re-furbished. Any thoughts on my next course of action? My thoughts are to replace the unit with a new OEM unit.
Sounds good. I have to find out exactly why mine could not be refurbished. How can I contact you?I have a couple of power steering motors and even a full steering column if you need. Drop me a line if I can help.
Can you give me any further information please.Good used one from one of our resident breakers is the way to go to get you back on the road.
Not belittling your offer, which is very kind, but I've never seen the motor actually fail. It is the ECU that has the issues.I've got a power steering motor (minus ecu) if it helps. I'm just south of Bristol.

Are you all sorted with @Street now?Unfortunately it's the ECU that's failed.
You’ve done well to find anywhere that will only swap the motor. Usually they want to change the whole column and decimate your bank account.Managed to get a refurbished unit from Global Parts, currently with a local indy dealer for fitting, hoping for a positive outcome!
