I’ve been sorting out the manufacturing run today of the new Z4 e85 Double Din Facia, and have agreed some costs.
The initial run will be 10 units, and these first 10 facia’s will be available at a discounted price of just £195.
The following runs will be slightly higher priced at £235.
The units will come with the following hardware to facilitate installation.
1. The Double Din Facia
2. Two M6 Hex Bolts, with flat washers. These will require a 4mm Allen key to tighten (Allen key not supplied). These are the two bolts that hold the facia in place.
3. Two M4 bolts and washers for fixing the unit into the facia, using the ISO fixing locations.
4. Spacer washers. These are required to be installed between the head unit and the facia mounting holes. Whilst the ISO size of a double din unit is 178mm wide, not all units are manufactured to that size, therefore these spacer washers are to be used as shims.
These prices are plus postage and packing. To the UK this will be £10. I need to establish worldwide shipping costs, so PM me with your country, and I’ll try and work out a shipping cost.
If you’re in the Yorkshire area, or fancy a day out in your Z4, I would be happy to install your head unit and wiring harness, as should only take an hour. If you want to take me up on this PM me and we can set up a visit. Please make sure you have all your wiring and peripherals, as I won’t have any to facilitate your install.
