G29 question

Hello everyone, I used to be a part of the forum many years ago, but after my old Z4 was totaled by a drunk driver I left. Being BMW's last year for the Z4 is 2026, and I loved the car so much. I ordered a brand new 2026 Z4 M40I with the Handschalter package. It's still in Austria awaiting shipping to come across the pond, but I figured I would start early. I am wondering what the best cold air intake set up for this car is from those that have the car already. I want to open up the motor and help it breathe better. This motor has great potential, but figured I would start with air intake first.

Any suggestions.

Welcome to the forum Jason and congratulations on getting one of the last Z4s, especially a Handschalter.

Sorry I can't offer any advice but if nobody on here can help it might be worth looking in any Supra forums as there seems to be a bigger tendency towards modifications in Japanese circles.

So you want to invalidate the three year warranty on a $75k plus car by messing about with the induction system from day one?

I would suggest moving to Canada (or Norway) if you want 'colder air'.
