I love the car, we have had many happy roadtrips in it, so this is a regrettable sale. We already have a VW Caddy van, Subaru Estate and my E39 5 series so cannot justify another car in the drive and paying more tax and insurance. The priority is currently concentrating on sorting out my house and garden to sell and find a better property with a double garage. I have scratched the sportscar itch for a while but definitely want another when we have settled into our next home.

This Z4 genuinely doesn't feel high mileage or I wouldn't have bought it. The gearbox, clutch, steering and brakes are tight and excellent. Engine is silky smooth, has used half litre of oil in 8000 miles, no smoke or issues at all. Seats are slightly marked.

Beige interior with silver trim that I have wrapped with dark wood vinyl so you can change it if you want; it was my first time and cheap vinyl that didn't flex, but looks good from a distance 😉

Parking sensors front and rear.

Business CD radio and speakers; working perfectly.

Manual seat with electric adjustment for lumbar

Electric folding mirrors

Standard suspension which is quite sporty

There are always jobs to do, but I have preferred to drive and enjoy the car rather than spend time working on it or time in bodyshop. Bodywork and chassis are rust free, but I was going to spend £500 - 800 getting the paint perfect. Everything works, including roof. Sports seats, folding mirrors. As for the water pump, I was going to replace it, but it is fine, and if I get any issues or doubts, I will do it. However there is a lot of talk on forums, especially BMWs, about replacement of perfectly good items in case they fail. Both my BMW specialists didn't see the point and suggested not to get so paranoid. I could replace all the roof wiring in case it breaks, as well as the window regulators and the clutch, handbrake etc. but where do you stop?

This is no garage queen, but an original, reliable, unmolested, daily that is effortless and very comfortable (800 in two days around Wales) and fast with standard suspension, exhaust, 18" wheels and quality tyres.

VIN is........... E159737

In my tenure I have done what needed doing.

18" wheels, three recently refurbished professionally and still excellent, other is slightly marked.

FRM Module failed Dec 25 ( repaired in two days, £70 inc postage)

Repair radio/speakers.

Lucas AGM battery in 2023

Air conditioning regassed last winter

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric on rear last year, less than 5000 miles

Bridgestones on front with 4mm tread

Four Wheel Tracking October 24

Both rear light assemblies replaced Dec25 with OE Marelli units

Roof salmon relays and micro-switches replaced Aug 25

BMW recall for Vanos bolts Apr 25

No record of service before Aug 2018 so I assume on BMWs computer

Receipts for service and repair from 2018.

Maintenence has included Fuchs 5W30 oil, air and oil filters, cabin filter under dash.
Checked plugs and coilpacks.
Replaced two micro-switches in roof mechanism that are likely to cause issues.
I have always get oil warmed up to 100deg before exceeding 2500rpm and always run on Tesco Momentum 99 RON. I have tried 95 and the engine didn't respond as quickly /smoothly especially at lower revs.

She drives very well, everything feels tight and right. Everything works including roof. No oil leaks under bonnet. No water leaks in boot (bone dry) or interior.

MOT until end of Aug 26.

£7000

I think that is everything, but feel free to ask other questions. I only have computer but will respond within a day.

Thank you.
