Front and rear suspension mounting

Down at the Z4 the other day, noticed that the bolts mounting the front and rear shocks have started to bend out? I don't know if this is normal, and/or needs fixing. I only have pictures of the front, but it looks like if those bolts are bending outwards, they're starting to weaken?

As always any advice is appreciated.

(Sorry for the bad picture, if you look closely they are bending out a tad)

The strut towers can mushroom. It looks like this is what's happened here, too

For the R53 Mini, it's a big issue, and you can get reinforcement plates to correct it. I think you can for the E46 too, which used the same same top mounts, so they might be compatible with the E85, too?
