Hi all, looking for a new(ish?) cat. I failed on my emissions and I'm thinking it's the cat. I've tried stuff like engine flush, sorted the rocker cover gasket and can't think if anything else to try. If anyone's got one gimme a shout, open to prices anywhere up to around £600 dependant on the condition.

Also posting a thread in the z4 help, if anyone has any other ideas of how to reduce emissions. As always, any help much appreciated!
 
Hi. I have a complete exhaust manifold to back box in one piece with all lambda sensors available in Coventry.
It's in very good condition.
Happy to let it go for £500

how easy is it to re-fit the exhaust manifold? deffo thinking about it just need to see if i can get my old cat off, its so rusty...

how many miles has that car done, and does (did) it have an mot? sorry just thinking about the emissions
 
That one has been cracked and welded to repair it in the past. Its a common issue on the 2.0l, been there myself.
 
That's correct it has. It's listed elsewhere but Ive not listed it on here and should I choose to do so, I'll be noting it in the description and also that is why that specific photo was taken.
 
Sorry, I think I've found someone with a new cat. Might re-consider this if my current seller falls through. Thanks anyway.
