Parts list for mounting Z4M front bumper

Hi all,

I've had my front bumper off of my E86 Z4M to restore the headlights, and I'm trying to buy the right hardware to get it mounted again (it was previously fitted with a mix of random screws and bolts on the underside which goes against everything I stand for?!).

It's hard to work it out from the parts diagrams and I feel like I'm going a bit mad, so I wondered if anyone here with a standard E86 M could help me out.

Looking at the parts diagram for the undertray (PN 51717895804 on an E86 Z4M) and based on the image below I think it should be:

• x3 of 07147154447 (body nuts) - alternatively 07129904224 could be used? So then the two remaining slots on the undertray are left bare?
• x3 of 07147129161 (hex head screws) - these go through the bottom of the front bumper and the front splitter and into the body nuts?

The thing that's confusing me is the parts diagram that shows the front bumper and the front splitter (item 23 in the diagram below) - it seems to suggest that the hardware that holds the front splitter onto the front bumper doesn't interact with the hardware on the front undertray, where it says to use the following:

• x3 of 07119904176 (item 26) - these are sheet metal screws with a phillips head
• x2 of 07146959925 (item 27) - these are screws made of plastic

However, when I took my front bumper off, the screws holding the bottom of the front bumper to the undertray also held the splitter on as well, as shown below (excuse the crude drawing):



Lastly, for mounting the underside of the front bumper to the corner pieces of plastic (item 6 in the diagram below), looking at the parts diagram I think it should be:

• x2 of 07147154447 (item 8)(same as for the undertray, so alternatively 07129904224 could be used) - one for each corner?
• x2 of 07147129161 (item 9) - one for each corner?

Managed to find a video that describes the hardware used here.

Final parts list:

• x3 of 07119904176 - these are sheet metal screws with a phillips head that go through the bumper, splitter, and into the undertray
• x2 of 07146959925 - these are screws made of plastic that just hold the rubber splitter to the bumper
• x7 of 07147154447- these are the body nuts,
  • x3 go on the undertray
  • x2 go on each corner piece of plastic (51718046083 and 51718046084)
• x4 of 07147129161 - these are hex head metal screws, x2 go through the bumper and into the body nuts on each corner piece of plastic
