The right-hand microswitch and mechanism are fully intact, in perfect working order, and have never been touched or modified.
The left-hand microswitch has been removed due to failure, which is why the unit is being sold for spares or repair.
Each side of the mechanism is normally held by a plastic retainer
Right-hand retainer: fully intact
Left-hand retainer: missing
This does not affect fitment or stability, as the unit is bolted securely to the boot lid, so there is no movement once installed.
The original wiring sheathing shows slight age-related deterioration (e.g. minor flaking), but all remaining components are original.
Ideal as a donor unit, for partial repair, or for salvaging individual components such as the right-hand microswitch, avoiding the cost of a full new unit.
