I bought this car to use as a donor car for parts for my 2004 Z4 M54 but quickly realised it was too good to strip down. Luckily I was able to get the parts I needed from another forum member so spent a little time getting this road worthy again.
It’s a 2006 SI manual with the N52 engine. It has 140k miles and no service history. It has heated m sport leather seats, m sport multi-function steering wheel, after market sat-nav/bluetooth,dab, parking sensors, colour = rubinschwarz metallic.
I spent a fair amount of time/money doing the following:
Replaced valve cover gasket
Oil cooler gasket replaced
Eccentric sensor seal replaced
Oil filter housing gasket replaced
‘mickey mouse’ water hose flange installed
Near rear shocks
New front springs and top mounts
New front drop links
New front brake hoses
Castrol 5w30 oil and oil filter
New ballasts for both headlights
Cleaned and treated roof
Coolant flushed and replaced with BMW coolant
The plugs and air filter looked like new so were not changed.
Strange issue with roof, seems to unlatch and go down but doesn’t go back up. I will look into it when I get some time but not promising a fix. Roof motor has been relocated to the boot as per the pictures.
The car now does not leak or smoke and looks stunning for its age and drives really nice.
The car has been fully detailed including a machine polish. I will be taking the car for a mot shortly so will come with 12 months mot. Any advisories will be fixed at my expense. I have the full V5 in my name.
Price wise - asking for £3495 Location - Wembley
