Gifted a 2012 z4 35i.

I have owned a M3 in the past, and was just gifted a z4 with 48k miles on it. red with black interior. What are the best upgrades you can do? if I want to give it some more pep, would the Dinan stage 1 tune be a good choice?
 
one more thing I forgot. I want to get a new screen where I can have car play. I have seen there are quite a few. Any recommendations? whats the best one out there?
 
Drive it & decide your preferences. It's heavy & won;t ever be the best handling uber sports car.

Straight line speed - go get stage 1 flash for engine / gearbox.

Handling - probably suspension & associated components are the bugbear for a fast z4 - lots to gain if you actually turn corners.

Brakes - go faster suspension & engine upgrades means go big on brake kits.

Lots of info on the forum from people who have really gone down the rabbithole - check out B21's posts here if you wanna get deep.

Most important upgrade is of course to get that paint polished & have the exterior as amazing as possible. Never grows old, and you don't need to be going fast to appreciate it :)
 
Yes its a fun car. not the power of my m3, but its different. Only thing that really bugs me is the delay in shifts.
