M market watch

Generally I do like a car to be fully loaded and I bought my 240i as such. It had to electric seats. It’s surprising how few F22 do. But my ZM only has heated seats. But I don’t miss cruise, nor sat nav. I would have liked e/mirrors but it wasn’t a game changer. And the stereo is good even in basic (try an e89 basic stereo!). And of course it has e/seats as standard. But what sold me mine was the Syrah Blue individual interior. The only one in the U.K.

I agree with most of the above - the //M is definitely more Sports than GT. having run one alongside a Maserati Gransport for several years and done continental trips and tackdays in both they are poles apart.

Luggage space isn't really in the GT class in any Z4, the boot won't take a decent suitcase or set of golf clubs. Most GTs have vestigial rear seats as well for the soft bags whilst the boot is for the duty free :)

Disagree, done several continental trips in my ZMR down to Med. 2 adults, 2 good sized holdalls for a two week trip. Managed to buy wine as well, 24 bottles on one trip, plus jars of confit and cassoulet. The boot can be crammed and closed without needing space for hood as in other motors. Secure and out of sight. :)

24 Bottles? We managed 96 in the boot, although it did ground out on the ferry ramp :)

This one popped up today. Price seems rather optimistic for the mileage!

Nothing in the service book after 2018 and all the receipts are old.

That one has been up for a while. I think it is what fixed in my mind that I do not want a white one of these!

I do not understand saying you are checking to find a perfect car as part of a daily routine and then when you find it you put the car in a garage for nine years. Fair enough if that suits him but I am buying a Z4M Coupe to get to drive it.

I'd like to see a white one in the flesh to judge.

The state of the brake discs and thin rear brake pads don't fint in with the mileage.

Also a mix of runflat tyres(not fitted on an M) and 13 year old Michelin tyres????

Also the swirls look deep in the photos.

It's a low mileage car, but it hasn't been loved during that time.

That's the problem, low mileage alone doesn't necessarily make it a desirable car.

One that has been used a bit but regularly serviced and looked after can often be a better proposition.

My front discs looked a bit like those when I had a sticking caliper - on a car so little used maybe that is the problem?

But maybe is has been used hard with Traction Control kicking in as that wears the rear pads pretty quickly.

The concern that jumps out for me is that it could easily be a well-maintained for appearance car rather than a well-loved mechanically one. Might be completely wrong and overly harsh but that is a bit of the vibe.

What if those 110-odd miles a year were all on a track. :o

Same thoughts as mine. The front bumper to bonnet allignment looks off as well, could be a shadow.

Shame about the colour. It's rare for a reason.

I hate white cars generally, but think the Z4 (esp E86) looks pretty good in it, not least due to rarity. Not sure I'd buy one though!

Seems like good value for such a low mileage/ low owner Z4MC

This Cat D has reappeared after having been taken down. Think that is a reduced price and possibly a dealer advert now. Is it just me or is there something very off about those wheel arches?

I think it's the flash / photo over processing, possibly too small a diameter tyre from a regular zed, too.

But then again :driving:
