Z4 Coupe for sale.

Each to their own. I think it shows off the Coupe shape really well. Certainly more individual than the plethora of greys and blacks on offer.

I love a black car (I own three, and thinking about it the furthest from black I have gone in 25 years is navy or dark green!) and am no fan of white... but you are right... the coupe looks good in white and it makes a very pleasant change to see something different.

I didn't see that, but the OP was originally trying to sell this car for £10,350. I'm assuming he paid even more to a dealer for the car.

A month later and it's down to £7500. It sounds like an expensive short ownership.

White paint was pretty rare on E85/86s so maybe there's a reason for that?

The seat colour looks great but they're not M-Sport seats, and it's an Auto.

Looks like an expensive ownership experience for the seller but that's what happens when you buy from a trader, but I wonder why he is selling so soon?

Still it is low mileage and looks really clean underneath.

I wonder how much was paid for it in Japan and then the cost to import it to the UK.
The total cost to ship my Zed from Buckinghamshire to Sydney and then register / insure it for road use was about 10k AUD / 5k GBP back in 2018. I presume they must have found a cheaper route for vehicle importation for this to have been a viable proposition.

Maybe it's time to implement some rules about joining just to sell a car, people like that clearly have no interest in the forum.

He joined when he bought the car five months ago and he seemed enthusiastic back then. Perhaps whatever has pushed him to sell the car so soon (and likely at a considerable loss) has influenced his ability to interact with people…

Well that was a bit touchy! Shane looks like it could be a nice car for someone. I think the Coupes look great in white!

They are shipping lots of cars over from Japan again including some cheap stuff. It can't be that expensive to ship over cars in large numbers considering the value of the cars.

White didn't take off in the UK until later. It was originally unpopular, then there was a huge boom. Looking at the cars imported from Japan white must have been popular before. They are brining in older BMW in white that I've never seen in white other than police cars.

Colour preferences seems to vary greatly by region - in Queensland, there must be ten white cars for every car of any other colour. I’m sure the locals would cite the baking heat as the reason for that, but in my experience, the colour of the car is fairly immaterial to the interior temperature when it’s been parked in tropical sunshine for an hour or two.

My Jeep cost about £700 to ship from Japan..

Dropping the price consistently after a month sounds like a desperate sale.

Just checked WBAC and they will only offer £2750 as it's an import.

We’re not in Queensland, but the sun is fairly intense nonetheless. Much of the interior trim plastics in my wife’s MB E Class had debonded by the time the car was five years old, despite her parking it in a garage when at home for all of that time.

I'm not sure I agree... they could be desperate, on the other hand they might want the space and be the sort of person who simply wants a fair price, and they work on the assumption that if it doesn't sell based on the asking price then the fair price must be lower so they drop the price.

But they might be desperate, yes. Certainly possible.

Must say White is starting to grow on me - especially on those miles and in that condition
Looks to have had an audio upgrade as well - now I just need to persuade the Mrs I need a White coupe to sit aside the Black Z4MR

I think at £6900 it could be a good for someone, some MV2 wheels and non jap plates it would look great

White is the colour for Japanese racing cars, red for Italian, silver for Germany and racing green for the UK which is why there are so many Japanese imports in white.

Car colours tend to be a 'cultural thing' aswell. The japanese are very superstitious and white is seen to be 'lucky', apparently.
