There are some nice camping spots in this part of the country if that's what you are looking for... nice driving roads too. I can have a look and see if there are any that have a camp site in spitting distance of a hotel if you like, that way we please everyone
how about Rudding Park .

+1. Camping...not convinced! Could dig out £100 for a hotel somewhere.

Be interesting to see varying age groups/backgrounds all drawn together by Zs!

We would ideally need a hotel where we could all get togehter for a few beers on the saturday night. Hotel near to or with a camping site attached would be great. Bear in mind though that if we plan this during the summer any hotel may get booked up so somewhere with B & Bs and alternative hotels very near would be best.

I'm up for this too provided it's not in a silly location (like Cornwall). You southerners need to spare a thought for the Aberdeen boys as they've got a 4 hour drive just to get to England! I say Lakes, it's 4 hours max from most people.

A suggestion, get any posssible meet fully sanctioned by a local BMW dealer. They get the reconginition, and if all else fails, maybe BMW (the Mama) may want to add to the meet. That is what occurred prior to the full backing of 'Homecoming' in the US.

I'm an old fart though

I would not call 35 old :P

Well i would do whatever everyone else is doing wether it be camping or a hotel.

I'd be up for it if I'm about, Durham, Yorkshire or the Lakes sound great, needs to be in the middle somewhere, I'd camp but the missus would refuse point blank, no where to plug in the straightening iron's in in a tent. :)

35 is not old, I was still playing Rugby at 35, to old now though.

I'd be up for that! The lakes would be great, i have camped there a few times, but can understand some people wanting a hotel too.
